Congratulations to Noble Reginald D. Adams on his new position as Chief of Police for the city of Brooksville!
“My journey began as a reserve police officer in Nettleton, where I worked many hours for free. In 2001 the newly elected Chief Shane Young asked me would I come full-time I declined the offer and started working undercover as a Narcotic in Aberdeen in 2002 and I knew I wanted to become a lawman. I also did undercover work for the Bureau of Narcotics and the Alcohol Beverage Control. In 2004, I graduated from the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy. I have worked as an investigator for the Department of Human Services and Columbus Police Department. As Chief of Police in 2011, 2012, and 2013, I led the police department in Brooksville. However, the new Mayor did not renew my contract, so now, eight years later, I’m back in Brooksville. I’m grateful to God for my family. In February, my 11-year-old daughter lost her mom unexpectedly, and I wanted to spend all the time I could with her, but she said I love you because you are a policeman. My children’s names are Amber 21, RJ 13, and Ayla 11.”
I am honored to serve as the seventh Imperial Deputy of the Desert of Mississippi. I have had the privilege of interacting with some of the most capable and talented Nobles and Daughters in the Imperial Domain. Each and every Noble and Daughter that I have encountered has been gracious and kind to me. In order to move the Desert of Mississippi forward, we will need your support. I will be updating my biography as soon as possible.
Deputy for the Desert of Mississippi
- Jackie Davis
Greetings and Welcome to the Desert of MS!
Since my appointment in June 2021, I have had to honor to meet and talk with Daughters from all over our great state. They have asked for changes to include more training, transparency, and accessibility. Their concerns are my concerns and we are working on being a Desert they can be proud of. Let’s move Mississippi forward!
WE ARE ALL CLOSE TOGETHER!
